Our team are expanding and we are on the look out for red-hot talent to join us here at this busy town centre local!
OV-Group are a privately owned hospitality company based in Wigan. We pride ourselves on delivering high levels of customer service and offering great value to our customers.
The position will require a mix of shifts from mornings, evenings and weekends.
Roles and responsibilities:
Serving drinks and food: Mixing, pouring, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and sometimes taking food orders depending on the establishment
Customer interaction: Engaging with customers, providing recommendations, and ensuring a welcoming and friendly environment
Maintaining cleanliness: Keeping the bar area, tables, and equipment clean and organized, including washing glasses and removing ashtrays
Stock management: Restocking beverages, garnishes, and bar supplies, and sometimes assisting with inventory and ordering
Cash handling and transactions: Taking payments, managing tabs, and operating point-of-sale systems
Compliance and safety: Checking IDs to prevent underage drinking and following health and safety regulations
