As a General Manager, you will lead and inspire your team to live and breathe our values in everything they do. These values guide us on our journey to become a staple of Wigan\'s leading hospitality company.
You won\'t be alone when it comes to growing pub and restaurant sales. You’ll brainstorm ideas, share learnings and build a solid plan with your Business Development Manager and Management team to build a thriving pub.
At OV-Group Inn\'s & Taverns, we’re all ears and always open to hearing your suggestions for improvement. We want you to put your spin on things and see your ideas brought to life.
You\'ll build your talented team, making sure they pull out all the stops needed to serve up a top-notch experience for our customers. This team will comprise Bar Staff and an Assistant Manager.
What skills do we require from our General Managers:

● Leadership - leading by example and creating an environment where customers can sit back, relax and be happy. Our motto is pouring happiness into our lives, after all!
● Communication - you’ll be a people person through and through, and understanding your team will come easily to you.
● Customer service - customers are at the heart of OV-Group , and customer service is about putting your customers first.
● Organisation - managing a team and pub means you’ll have to have your ducks in a row and know how to stay on top of everything.
● Attention to detail - we have high standards in all our pubs, bars and upholding those is all in the details.
Job Type: In Person - 40 Hours per week (Variable)
Salary: 30,000 Starting Salary
