OV-Group is a privately owned leisure and hospitality company based right here in Wigan. Founded in March 2021, we set out with one simple goal: to bring hospitality back to life across the North West.
What started as a single-site operation has grown into a group with four specialist divisions, a growing portfolio of venues and a team with over 50 years of combined experience in the hospitality sector. Our head office is on Wigan Lane — right at the heart of the community we serve.
OV-Group isn’t just a pub company. We operate across four distinct divisions, each one built on the same hands-on, quality-first approach.
OV Inns & Taverns is our core hospitality division. We operate and manage pubs, bars, hotels and licensed venues across Wigan and the wider North West. From traditional community locals with real ales and open fires to premium cocktail bars with heated terraces — every venue is unique, but every one runs to the same high standards.
OV Lettings is our property management arm. We handle residential and commercial lettings across the Wigan area. Houses, flats, house shares and individual rooms — all maintained to a high standard with professional tenancy management.
OV EPOS is our technology division. We supply, install and support complete point of sale systems for hospitality businesses. Designed by operators, for operators — covering till management, stock control, reporting and multi-site dashboards.
OV Management Consultants is our consultancy division. Drawing on decades of hands-on experience, we work with pub operators, breweries and hospitality businesses to improve performance, fix compliance issues, train staff and — where needed — take over the full operation of a venue.
Wigan is home. It’s where we started, where our head office is, and where the majority of our venues are based. The town has a proud pub culture and a strong sense of community — two things that sit at the heart of everything we do. But our reach doesn’t stop at the borough boundary. We already operate venues in Cheshire and have a pipeline of new sites across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and North Wales.
There are plenty of pub companies out there. What sets OV-Group apart is simple: we’re operators first. Every decision we make — from the EPOS system we recommend to the compliance training we deliver — is grounded in the reality of running a busy pub on a Saturday night. We don’t sit in offices and send emails. We’re on the ground, in the venues, working alongside our teams every day. That’s the OV difference.
We’re growing. New venues are joining the network, our consultancy and EPOS divisions are expanding, and we’re investing in every site across our portfolio.
